This is an active cultural tour involving daily walking (2–4 miles per day), stairs, cobblestone streets, and some uphill terrain. Guests should be comfortable being on their feet for extended periods. Optional spa and island day allows for a slower pace.
You’ll stay in carefully selected 3–4 star boutique hotels or historic guesthouses with ensuite bathrooms, character, and comfort. Expect local flair, walkable locations, and thoughtful amenities. Wi-Fi included in all rooms.
Yes. A limited number of private rooms are available for a supplemental fee. Contact us early to reserve a single occupancy room.
Comfortable walking shoes, layers for warm days and cool evenings, a day bag, swimwear (for spa or beach), a reusable water bottle, and any personal medications. A full packing guide will be sent closer to departure.
No-feel free to include your non-female companion. While many of our trips are women-centered, this tour is open to all adults who value thoughtful, cultural travel in a small group setting.
Yes, within reason. Please inform us of any allergies or dietary needs in advance. We work with local partners who are experienced in accommodating vegetarian, gluten-free, and other common requests.
Absolutely. While we offer daily activities, each guest can opt out of any experience. There's a built-in “Choose Your Adventure” day and flexible free time throughout.
The tour begins in Bari, Puglia and ends in Lecce, Puglia. Guests will arrive in Bari on October 14, and the tour concludes in Lecce on October 22. We’ll assist with onward travel options from Lecce at the end of the trip.
You have two main options for arrival:
Option A:
Bari International Airport-Karol Wojtyla (BRI)
Fly directly into Bari, Puglia.. A group airport transfer is included on arrival day (October 14). Additional transportation can be arranged upon request.
Option B:
Rome International Airport (FCO)
Fly into Rome, then take a high-speed Trenitalia or Italo train to Bari Centrale.(Bari Central Station). A group train transfer is included on arrival day (October 14).
We’re happy to assist with extra nights or post-tour suggestions. Just let us know as early as possible to ensure availability.
A deposit secures your place. The balance can be paid in installments or in full. Payment can be made by Credit Card or Personal Check. Payment in full must be made 45 days prior to the start of the tour. Space is limited to keep the experience intimate, so we encourage early booking.
